If you travel across time zones and find that your iPhone is displaying the wrong time, the problem is usually because your gadget is not set up to mechanically adjust its time and date.
If you're not traveling and you're still seeing an incorrect time on your iPhone, the problem may be because your iPhone is acquiring the incorrect date and time settings from your carrier.
Additionally, it is understood that the iPhone will display an incorrect date and time if it has not been used for a long period of time and also if its battery is drained.
1. Allow iPhone to automatically set the date and time
As mentioned above, your iPhone may end up displaying the wrong time if you travel and end up in a different time zone.
The solution in this case is to allow the iPhone to mechanically adjust its date and time by contacting Apple's servers.
Go to Settings > Regular > Date and Time > Transfer Switch after Robotic Adjustment to ON.
After activating the automatic time setting option, make sure your iPhone displays the correct time under Time Zone.
2. Allow localization companies to set the time zone
The most common reason for your iPhone displaying the wrong time or date is that location services are turned off. If you're travelling, it's worth making sure location services are turned on on your device.
Go to Settings > Privacy > Business Location > Transfer advice after Business Location à IN place.
On the same screen, scroll down and tap System Companies.
On the System Services screen, check that Time Zone Setting is enabled.
Once you turn on the time zone adjustment option, your iPhone should be able to mechanically switch to the proper time and display the correct date and time.
3. Manually set the date and time on iPhone
In general, the iPhone may display the wrong date and time even if the “Set Automatically” option is enabled. In this case, you will have to manually correct the time, date, and time zone.
Go to Settings > Regular > Date and time > On the next screen, turn off Robotic assembly option.
After disabling the "Set automatically" option, click the Time Discipline button to set the appropriate Time and Date by tapping the Date Discipline.
Enter your Wi-Fi network ID and password and follow the steps below to reset your iPhone network settings to factory defaults.
Go to Settings > Regular > Change or Reset iPhone > Reset > In the pop-up window, choose Reset Community Settings.
If prompted, enter your Screen Lock Password > In the declaration pop-up window, click Reset Community Settings to justify.
