There is no SIM card inserted in the iPhone
Normally, the “No SIM card inserted” or “Invalid SIM” error messages should only appear on the iPhone when the SIM card is lost, locked, or broken.
However, the “No SIM Card” error can also occur on the iPhone due to community issues, uninstalled updates, minor software issues, and other causes.
Therefore, it is highly recommended that you try to resolve this issue using the strategies given below before purchasing a new SIM card.
1. Reboot iPhone
In case you haven't tried it yet, restart your phone and see if the problem goes away.
