  • Press the Windows key + E to open the File Browser
  • Now in the location bar paste the given command c:\Program Files (x86)\ Google \ Chrome \ Application
  • Then right click on chrome.exe and select Rename and change it to Chrom.exe or any other you want.

For Edge browser users

Follow these steps to rename the .exe file in Edge

6.- Reset the settings to default values

Follow the steps given according to your browser:

For Google Chrome:

  • Launch the Chrome browser and in the address bar type chrome://settings hit the key Enter.
