Manage and Free Up iCloud Storage Space

It's time to free the house from storage from iCloud, in case your iPhone don't go back to iCloud or get the message “Not enough iCloud storage”.

Apple is offering its iPhone customers 5GB of free iCloud storage, allowing iPhone customers to start using iCloud automated backups, iCloud Images, and other iCloud-partnered storage.

However, the limited iCloud storage space that exists on a free iCloud account can quickly become saturated with iPhone backups, photos, and app-related data.

When this happens, your iPhone is unable to back up your data to iCloud and you may encounter “Insufficient iCloud Storage” pop-ups on your device.

To resolve this, you can purchase additional iCloud storage or make efforts to free up iCloud storage by following the steps below.

1. Delete iCloud backups

If you've upgraded your iPhone, there may be backups from your old devices taking up space in your iCloud account.

Open Settings > touch tone Apple ID Title > iCloud > Cable storage > Backup > On the next screen, choose your iPhone Backup you want to delete.

On the next screen, swipe down and tap Clear backup possibility. In the Affirmation pop-up window, click Disable and remove to check.

It will delete the iCloud backup of the previous iPhone and also disable future iCloud backups for this gadget.

2. Delete unwanted information from the application

You can free up some iCloud storage space in advance by eradicating information stored by unwanted apps in your iCloud account.

Open Settings > touch tone Apple ID Title > iCloud > Storage Management > Backup > play your iPhone located in the “Backups” section.

On the next screen, disable Apps you don't want to save the information in iCloud by moving the switch after the applications to OFF place.

In the Affirmation pop-up window, click Disable and remove.

This will delete all information stored by the app in iCloud and will similarly prevent these apps from storing information in iCloud.

3. Turn off iCloud Images

Turning on iCloud Images ensures that a copy of all your images is stored in iCloud. However, this can quickly fill up storage space in your iCloud account.

Open Settings > touch tone Apple ID > iCloud > Images > disable iCloud images transfer the key to OFF place.

In the configuration pop-up window, choose Remove from iPhone.

As mentioned above, these steps will only prevent your gadget from importing new images to iCloud. They do not delete images that have already been uploaded to iCloud.

4. Delete pictures from iCloud

If you are still affected by the lack of iCloud storage, you can get all the images from iCloud in one Mac or on a laptop with Home windows home and delete all the images from your iCloud account.

1. Ir a icloud.com on your laptop and sign in to your iCloud account > Once in iCloud, click on Images file.

2. In the Pictures app, click the button Images to switch to image view.

3. Then load Command + A to select All Images and press the button You get the icon to start downloading all your pictures from iCloud to your Mac.

Observe: If you are on a Windows PC, press CTRL + A to select All Images and press the button You get the icon to get images on your personal computer running Windows.

4. Once the images have been downloaded, click on the button Trash can icon to delete selected iCloud images.

Deleted photos will remain in your iCloud account for a period of 30 days, after which they will be systematically deleted.

If you want to instantly free up iCloud storage, you'll need to remove deleted images from the Recently Deleted folder.

5. Click on Not long ago Deleted in the left pane. In the right pane, click Erase everything choose to completely delete all images from your iCloud account.

If you like to store images in iCloud, you may want to consider purchasing additional locker space to accommodate your cloud storage needs.

Ir a Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Storage Management > Change storage plan > On the next screen, choose the Storage plan You can choose the storage plan you want and click on the purchase option.

As you can see, iCloud storage shouldn't be that expensive and can be used to back up your images to Apple's cloud storage providers.
