If you are unable to connect to the Internet due to the “Restricted or no Internet” error, here are the steps to fix this error in the Start 10 window.
Restriction error or lack of connectivity in Residence 10 home windows
In a typical case, the computer tries to connect to the Internet only a few times and displays an error message saying “Limited or no connection.”
This usually happens because computer systems request dynamic IP address assignment and the DHCP server ignores it.
When the computer cannot obtain an IP address from the DHCP server, it assigns an arbitrary IP address (starting with 169) and attempts to connect to the Internet using this invented IP address.
Since this arbitrary or invented IP address is not recognized by the community, the computer receives "Restricted or non-existent connectivity"Error message.
Fortunately, it is best to be able to solve this problem using one of the strategies suggested below.
1. Restart the modem/router
In most cases, the “Limited or No Connection” error can be resolved by restarting your router/modem.
