3. In the pop-up window that appears, click Unregister to justify

When you click Cancel Registration in the pop-up window, you will be signed out of your Amazon account and your Kindle gadget will no longer be connected to an Amazon account.

As mentioned above, once your device has been deregistered, you will no longer be able to obtain apps from the Amazon App Store or use Amazon Stock apps.
