If you are trading, buying and selling, or donating your laptop, you can find the following steps to deauthorize and remove the computer from iTunes.
Remove or deauthorize PC from iTunes
As you may know, you can authorize up to 5 computers per Apple ID account in iTunes, allowing you to access iTunes music, movies, and other content on any of those computers.
Therefore, it is a good idea to remove or deauthorize a computer in iTunes if you are not using it and free up space for an additional computer in your iTunes account.
When a computer is deauthorized or removed from iTunes, you can no longer access any paid digital content in iTunes on the deauthorized computer.
