What to do if Xbox Game Bar is not working?
1. Check your game bar settings
- Open the Xbox app by clicking the Start menu box. You can also type Xbox into the Cortana search bar.
- Then enter the Xbox app. Please note that you need to have a Microsoft account to access the Xbox app.
- In the bottom left corner of the Xbox app, you'll see a gear icon for the Settings button in the sidebar. Click the settings button and select Game DVR.

- Close the Xbox app and restart Windows.
- Press Win + G again to open Game DVR.

2. Change the register
- First Open the registry by pressing Win + R and typing regedit in 'Run'.

- Then Right click on DWORD AppCaptureEnabled and select Edit.
- If the DWORD value is 0, write 1 in the Value field.
- Now navigate to the GameConfigStore.
- Right click on DWORD GameDVR_Enabled and Select Edit from the context menu to open the next window.
- Enter 1 in the Value field if the current value is 0.
- Restart the windows and press the shortcut key in the game bar.

3. Don't run games in full screen mode
Is it possible that the game panel won't open when I launch a game in full screen mode? The game panel won't open in full screen mode because most games don't recognize the Win+G key combination.

- There are versions of Windows 10 N and KN that do not include all the multimedia technologies and applications found in the standard versions.

However, you can use the Windows Media Feature Pack to install media-related technologies that are otherwise unavailable in Windows 10 N.
6. Reinstall the Xbox app
- Press Windows key + S and writes Powershell. Right-click Windows PowerShell in the results list and select Run as administrator.
- Once Powershell is launched, run the following command: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage.
