1. Completely hide text messages on iPhone
If you use the default messaging app, you can follow the steps below to completely block text messages from appearing on your iPhone.
Ir a Settings > Notifications > Messages > On the next screen, click on Accurate summary possibility, located in the “Choice” section.
On the next screen, choose the option In no event option to completely disable iMessage and text message previews on iPhone.
After this, you will no longer see previews of iMessages or SMS messages in new message notifications. New message notifications will only display the identity of the sender.
2. Hide text messages on iPhone lock screen
This method prevents text message previews from appearing on the iPhone lock screen, but allows them to appear in regular new message notifications in the notification area.
Ir a Settings > Notifications > scroll down and click on Messages.
On the next screen, uncheck the box Lock the display screen possibility found under the “ALERT” part by touching it.
After this, you won't see any iMessage or text message previews on your device's lock screen.
