As you may have noticed, Home Search windows displays clean results as soon as you start typing in the search box on your Windows 10 or 11 Home laptop. Below you will find 3 completely different strategies to disable clean results in Windows Home Search.

By default, the search box on your Windows 10 and 11 operating system is designed to display options from the Internet as well as native search results performed on your laptop's hard drive.

This is because Windows Home search is based on Microsoft's Bing search engine, which also powers Internet Explorer and Microsoft's Edge browser.

Pay attention: If you don't see CortanaConsent, create this entry by following the same steps as creating BingSearchEnabled.

After this Registry change, your Windows 10 or 11 home laptop will no longer display web search results, and all of your searches in the Start menu search bar will likely be limited to your laptop.

3. Stop Internet Recommendations in Windows Home Explorer Using Registry

If you want to see the Pink recommendations, you can either delete DisableSearchBoxSuggestions DWORD or change its knowledge value to 0.

Be careful: The steps above disable File Explorer search history for the current person's account only. Different personal accounts on your laptop will still display web search results.
