wireless networks are essential in the 21st century, but not all computers come pre-installed with a wireless network card.
We are going to show you How to install a wireless network card on your PC: It is a simple process that should not take more than 10-15 minutes.

9 Steps to Install a Wireless Network Card
It's worth noting that the setup process may vary slightly depending on the Wi-Fi network card you're using. Be sure to take a look at the individual instructions that came with your card, but that said, it should be a standard PCI-E installation, so there shouldn't be too much difference.
1. Turn off the computer.
This may seem like a no-brainer to some people, but you could do serious damage to your computer's internals (and yourself) if you try to install components with a live power supply. It's best to completely unplug your computer from the mains while you do this.
2. Open the box.
Now it's worth noting that the way to open the case is a little different for every computer, although most cases will have a removable panel on the side. In other cases, you have to remove two screws from the back of the case and then the side panel slides off.
If you can't see any screws, check to see if there's a lever that can be used to release the side of the case. If you're unsure how to remove the case, don't force it - check your computer's manual for exact instructions.
3. Identify an empty slot.
The PCI-E slots should align with the removable metal plates on the back of the PC.
4. Remove the metal plate.
Before you can add the wireless network card, you need to make room for it. Many computers come with removable plates, and these should be easy to remove by unscrewing the screw holding it in place. There are usually one or two screws holding it in place, or in some cases there are plastic clips that need to be removed. Again, if you're not sure, check your computer's manual.
5. Align the wireless network card with the PCI-E slot.
To install your wireless network card, hold it by its faceplate, making sure the chips are facing the bottom of the case. If your computer is running slowly, there are several things you can do to speed it up.
6. Insert the card directly into the PCI-E slot.
Once you've aligned the wireless card with the slot, simply push the card straight into the slot until it is seated and the faceplate is against the hole in the back of the PC.
7. Secure the card to the case with a screw.
Using the screw you used to unscrew earlier when removing the metal plate, screw the wireless network card into place in the case.
8. Remove the yellow covers and place the antennas.
Simply remove the yellow covers from the back of the wireless network card and screw in the two supplied antennas.
9. Close the computer case and turn it on.
Once you have installed the card, close the computer case and turn on your PC. Your new wireless card should automatically install the necessary drivers for its components, as this functionality comes directly to Windows 10.
