1. Explanation of the document

In the workspace there is a document with a background layer and a circular design element. You can also work with the same files if you want to follow this tutorial step by step.

2. Add guides to your document

• Step 1:: Choose View > New guide design.

4. Write in a circular route

• Step 1:: On the toolbar, select the Text tool.

NOTE: : Your text will appear upside down, but you can flip it by clicking on the start or end point and dragging it inward.

9. Adjust the baseline shift

• Step 1:: Enables the original text layer.
• Step 2:: Next, double-click the text below to highlight it and open the Character panel picking out Windows > Character.

• Step 3:: Go to the input box Baseline and match the baseline of the layer Text from above by pressing the arrow key up o down on your keyboard to adjust it.

10. Write in a route

• Step 1:: Create a route of any shape with the Curvature Pen Tool.

• Step 2:: Then, select the Horizontal Type Tool and click on the route.

NOTE: : Always be careful with the full stop icon and place it at the end of the path so that it does not cut off the rest of the text.

• Step 3:: To set the text above or below the baseline, return to the Character panel and adjust the Baseline value.

• Step 4:: Set it to the default value by setting the value to 0and press the ENTER key (Windows) or Return (macOS) to apply the change.
• Step 5:: If the curved path causes the letters in your text to be too close to each other, simply select the space between the letters and hold down the Alt key (Windows) or Option key (macOS)while pressing the left or right arrow keys to adjust the kerning.
