What is Urlmon.dll file?
Urlmon.dll is a Microsoft sound file used by the Windows operating system to load the Object Linking and Embedding library on your PC.
The Object Linking and Embedding library primarily contains a set of information and parameters that can be used by many applications running on your PC to perform functions such as printing, hyperlinking, and other functions.
Urlmon.dll and the various DLL (Dynamic Hyperlink Library) files exist outside of the software program's functionality and are only called into play when applications make a performance request.
For example, a DLL that links Microsoft Phrase, Microsoft Excel, and other applications to printing will not be loaded into RAM until the consumer makes a print request for a web page.
The error Urlmon.dll does not exist or is not found
The most common varieties of Urlmon.dll error messages reported by customers on a Windows Home PC are as follows:
