Disable voicemail on iPhone
If you have a regular phone plan, your voicemail size will probably be very small and you will only be able to store 3-minute audio messages.
In addition, recorded voice messages remain stored in the mailbox for a short period of time (3-5 days), before being deleted by the provider.
If you don't plan to use voicemail on your iPhone, you can call your service provider and ask them to disable voicemail, or try manually disabling voicemail by dialing MMI (human machine interface) codes.
Deactivate iPhone voicemail with MMI codes
For many service providers, you can manually disable voicemail on iPhone by following the 3-step procedure below.
Step 1. Find out the mailbox amount
The first step is to find out the mailbox number associated with your mobile phone number.
On the home screen, click the button Phone icon > Enter * # # 61 and touches Full Name to deliver the amount to your mailbox.
Enter the mailbox number and click Resend to close the Phone call.
Step 2. Set up name forwarding
The second step is to set up name forwarding for your mailbox.
