1.- Start your computer with a clean boot

It also prevents third-party conflicts from causing further problems on your system. Using applications and services that are not related to Microsoft, you will be able to check whether your Windows Media Player is working or not.
To start the boot on your operating system follow these steps:
- First, locate the keys on your keyboard Windows + R and press them to start the Run utility.
- Next, you have to write msconfig and then press the Enter key. This will open the system configuration on your computer.
- After this, you must change to the services window where you have to check the box that says Hide all services Microsoft so that third-party services can be displayed on the screen.
- When you manage to hide all the system services, you must click where it says disable all to temporarily disable third-party services on your computer.
- Click on the apply and restart your computer. This way your computer will be in a clean boot state and will only have official Microsoft services running.

- Then, you have to write the name of your user account inside the field and Enter the name of the object to select. Click where it says verify names. At this point, the system should automatically enter your full account name. When you're done, you should click where it says to accept.
- Next, you have to click on the button that says add.
- To continue, you have to click on the link select a principal. Now, you need to select your user account using the same methods I described above and click on Accept.

7.- Add the administrators group to the local service

8.- Disable the sharing service
