
The main task that most customers face after purchasing a new iPhone is to quickly transfer contacts from old iPhone to new one.
There are several strategies to transfer contacts from one iPhone to another, from simply changing the SIM card to using iCloud and iTunes to transfer data (including contacts) from the old iPhone to the new one.
You should use one of the following strategies, depending on what is relevant or appropriate in your personal case.
1. Transfer contacts to your new iPhone with iCloud
If you haven't set up your new iPhone yet, you can simply transfer all your photos, info, contacts, and other data using iCloud.
Observe: This technique works only if you use the same Apple ID on each device.
On your old iPhone, go to Settings and click on your Apple ID.

On all iPhones, go to Settings > Basic > Airdrop > choose The whole world possibility.

In the Share menu that appears, choose the option AirDrop possibility.
You should now see a request to transfer AirDrop to your new iPhone. Accept the request and the contact will likely be transferred to your new iPhone.
You'll need to repeat the steps above for different contacts, as you can only change one contact at a time with AirDrop.
4. Import contacts from SIM card to new iPhone
You should use this technique if you know that several contacts from your old iPhone are stored on the SIM card.
Remove the SIM card from your old iPhone and insert it into your new iPhone. Then, go to Settings > Contacts and the tap Import contacts from SIM possibility.
In a few seconds, your contacts will likely be transferred from your SIM card to your new iPhone.
5. Transfer Contacts from iPhone to iPhone with Mac
If you use a MacBook, an iMac or a Mac Mini, you can simply move contacts from iPhone to iPhone using Finder.
