By default, the iPhone allows you to reply to messages, directly from the lock screen and without having to unlock your gadget by entering the lock screen password.

All you have to do to disable the Reply with Message feature on iPhone is to go to Settings > Scroll down and click on Contact ID and Passcode.

On the next screen, scroll down to the “Allow entry when locked” section and move the next toggle to Reply with a message à OFF place.

After this change, you or anyone else with access to your gadget will not be able to reply to Messages from the lock screen.

Word: The ability to reply with a message may be grayed out on your iPhone if Passcode or Contact ID is not enabled on your device.

2. Disable the notification heart entry from the lock screen
