In the current model, the only solution to disable Bing search in the Windows 10 Start menu is to change the corresponding registry data.

After this Registry change, Windows 10 Home will no longer display web search results and all your searches in the Start menu search bar will likely be limited to your laptop.
If necessary, you can continue to retrieve net search results by opening the Registry Editor and changing the following: BingSearchEnabled e Cortana Consent Information values to 1.
