Amazon has kicked off a new wave of devices which strengthen their connected home ecosystem, with special emphasis on Alexa+ and a completely renewed range of Echo, Show displays, Kindle Scribe, Fire TV and home cameras.
The company focuses on hardware redesigned, local processing and sensor integration to offer faster responses and proactive features, while Alexa+'s advanced conversational capabilities will be rolling out to more markets (in Spain, a date is still pending).
Alexa+ and Amazon's new approach

The heart of the proposal is Alexa+, an assistant that evolves into a contextual and proactive model thanks to new proprietary chips capable of running AI without constantly relying on the cloud.
Amazon combines these advances with its Omnisense sensor platform —camera, audio, ultrasound, Wi‑Fi radar, accelerometer and signal analysis— so that the system recognize events and adapt the interface to each person and situation, from displaying personalized information to alerting if a door is left open.
According to the company, those who already live with Alexa+ interact more frequently and delegate more daily tasks, such as family organization or smart home control.
Speakers: Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio

The new Echo Dot Max debuts an internal design with two speakers and almost three times more bass Compared to its predecessor, Amazon has integrated the acoustic system into the casing itself to double the air volume and achieve a more powerful sound in a compact body.
In parallel, the Echo Studio reduces its size by around 40% compared to the original, maintaining its commitment to immersive audio with support for spatial audio and Dolby Atmos. The spherical design and 3D woven fabric prioritize acoustic transparency, while the ring of light gains new visual models for interactions.
Both can be combined with Fire TV via Alexa Home Theater to create, in minutes and without complex installations, a system of surround sound with up to five Echo Dot Max or Echo Studio speakers.
Prices in Spain: Echo Dot Max for €109,99 and Echo Studio by €239,99. They can now be reserved and their availability is expected Before the end of the year.
Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11

Amazon's smart displays get a refresh with high-density panels —more than a million pixels—, in-cell touch technology and negative liquid crystal to improve sharpness and viewing angles in both bright and dark environments.
A camera of 13 SM Improves video call quality and enables personalized experiences with Alexa+, and raises privacy issues, while the audio architecture debuts front stereo speakers and a woofer designed to offer a wider and more defined soundstage.
A matching adjustable stand (sold separately) is included to keep the display in place. at the perfect angle, with a price of €39,99.
Prices in Spain: Echo Show 8 for €199,99 and Echo Show 11 for €239,99, with open reservations and expected arrival before the year ends.
Custom silicon and sensors: AZ3, AZ3 Pro and Omnisense

The new Echo integrates chips designed by Amazon: AZ3 and AZ3 Pro, both with a AI accelerator prepared to run modern models directly on the device.
Echo Dot Max uses AZ3 to improve the wake word detection and the clarity of the microphones, with a jump in precision close to 50% in noisy environments.
Echo Studio and Show 8/11 displays integrate AZ3 Pro, which expands audio capabilities and adds support for language and vision models next-generation. With Omnisense as the sensor foundation, these pieces of hardware aim for more personalized and proactive.
