How to Fix Error 0x80040801 in Google Chrome

If the above two fixes did not work for you and you are unable to update from the Google Chrome app, the only viable option at this point is to uninstall your current Google Chrome browser before reinstalling the latest one from the official Google Chrome page. Google Update.
